July always brings thoughts of Freedom & Independence. As an American, the concept of freedom is instilled in you at a very young age. Freedom is defined as “the power of right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.” Historically, freedom for our Founding Fathers meant “the absence of subjection to foreign domination or despotic government.”

As I’ve grown older, my personal definition of freedom has grown to include:

1. Freedom in business: Being able to design a business built around my passions, allows me to earn an income, and gives me the freedom to establish my own hours and location.

2. Freedom in body, mind, and spirit: Physically having the health and mobility to move through life freely without any impairment or restrictions.

That’s why this month, our articles and experts will be sharing their stories and experiences with creating a freedom business and proving resources designed to give you more freedom in body, mind, and spirit.

To all our Canadian readers “Happy Canada Day” and to all my American family, friends and dear readers “Happy Fourth of July!”

Let freedom ring!
